ITHACA, N.Y. -- The Bombers (14-2-0, 8-0-0 E8) shut out Utica (7-6-1, 4-2-1 E8) 1-0 on Wednesday at Carp Wood Field in a league contest for their eighth straight victory.

Winnie Adrien (Blairstown Academy/ Blairstown N.J.) scored the game’s only goal, her ninth of the season. Senior
Alli Mayo (Skaneateles/ Skaneateles) recorded the assist, giving her six points on the year.

Aimee Meacham (Massena/Massena) recorded two saves and improved her record to 14-2-0.
Ithaca outshot the Pioneers 16-5 and extended their conference-record unbeaten streak to 31. The Bombers became the first team to post an 8-0-0 record in Empire 8 competition.
The Bombers will be back in action on Saturday at 3 p.m. as they host # 5 William Smith at Carp Wood Field.
